I use small primers in the brass that requires small primers and I use largemagnum primers in the brass that requires large primers. Using the small primers you will end up getting a slightly slower muzzle velocity compared to using large primers. A small primer holds enough and saves some money.

A few years ago Blazer started to use small pistol primers in their brass and Federal has also started to load of their cartridges with small primers. You will feel it and be able to pull it out smoothly. Im thinkin that finding once fired small primer brass is going to be harder than large primer if youre going to buy bulk once fired brass.
